the installation is based on a wordpress theme similar as the one used for mymess.org enhanced by the thickbox development for display of smooth zooms and viewability. through the possibilities of the youtube api on the one side as well as the configuration possibilities a completely integrated system was established, that allows martin to upload the videos of his daily shows on servus.tv to youtube, automatically integrating those videos on his portfolio page as well as feeding into twitter. have a look – nice music, great atmosphere!

the exchange of large files and resources over the internet poses complications for non-technical experts. as a basic requirements the exchange needs to be possible form different platforms (windows, mac, linux based systems) without the need of additional installation steps of clients etc.
additionally a private environment has to be established, sharing over systems such as the Microsoft Live SkyDrive or DropBox are regarded as too public and open and can not be used out-of-the box- a private file server infrastructure is established using the FTP protocol for communication and a browser-based client for interaction.
Installation and Integration:
installation on a mac-based system for goalgetter studios for sharing resources of any kind with clients and friends. the installation uses a mac-os tiger based system at the backend and standard ftp server configuration. on the frontend a open and free web-based system has been used (ourwebftp from http://www.ourwebftp.com/).
